This is a free program offered by the Department of State that allows U.S. citizens and nationals traveling and living abroad to enroll their trip with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate. This allows you to receive important information from the Embassy about safety conditions at your destination. I recommend that you utilize this program each time you travel internationally.
The decision to travel in the next few months should be an informed one and a personal decision based on your situation. Knowing the deadlines and the updated policies as they develop is critical and we will continue to work together to evaluate your plans and make timely decisions.
